PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Weyland-Yutani Corporation, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and controlled entities (collectively, "Weyland-Yutani," "the Corporation," "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with our websites, applications, products, services, and operations across all Earth-based and off-world jurisdictions.
1. SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
This Policy applies to all personal data collected by Weyland-Yutani Corporation through: (a) our corporate websites and digital platforms; (b) products and services provided to consumers, enterprise clients, and governmental entities; (c) employment and recruitment activities; (d) colony administration and resident services; (e) vessel operations and crew management; (f) research participation programs; and (g) any other interaction with the Corporation or its representatives.
This Policy applies across all jurisdictions in which the Corporation operates, including but not limited to terrestrial nations, lunar installations, orbital platforms, and off-world colony administrations. Where local law imposes requirements that exceed this Policy, the Corporation will comply with the more protective standard.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Weyland-Yutani collects the following categories of personal information:
2.1 IDENTITY AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Name, date of birth, nationality, government-issued identification numbers, biometric identifiers (fingerprint, retinal scan, voiceprint), postal and electronic addresses, communications relay identifiers, and colony registration numbers.
2.2 EMPLOYMENT AND PROFESSIONAL DATA
Employment history, educational credentials, professional certifications, security clearance level, vessel assignment records, colony posting history, performance evaluations, and compensation data.
2.3 HEALTH AND BIOMETRIC DATA
Medical records generated through MedPod systems, hypersleep physiological data, deep-space radiation exposure records, fitness-for-duty assessments, and genetic screening results where required by operational safety regulations.
2.4 TECHNICAL AND USAGE DATA
Device identifiers, IP addresses, browser and operating system information, access logs, navigation patterns on Corporation digital platforms, and communications metadata transmitted through Corporation networks.
2.5 LOCATION DATA
GPS coordinates, vessel tracking data, colony zone access logs, facility entry and exit records, and interstellar transit manifests.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
The Corporation uses personal information for the following purposes:

- ■ Employee and crew management, including assignment, compensation, and performance evaluation
- ■ Colony administration and resident service delivery
- ■ Safety, security, and emergency response across all installations
- ■ Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations

- ■ Communications, marketing, and corporate relationship management
4. SYNTHETIC PERSON DATA PROCESSING
Weyland-Yutani synthetic persons generate and process operational data in the course of their assigned duties. This data, including cognitive logs, behavioral analytics, and interaction records, is the property of Weyland-Yutani Corporation and is subject to the Corporation's data governance framework. Synthetic operational data is not classified as personal data under this Policy.
Personal data of human individuals collected or processed by synthetic persons in the course of their duties is subject to the full protections of this Policy. Synthetic persons are programmed to adhere to all data handling protocols established by the Corporation.
5. INTERSTELLAR DATA TRANSFERS
The Corporation operates across multiple star systems and routinely transfers data between Earth-based facilities, orbital platforms, and off-world installations via FTL communications relay and conventional data transport. All interstellar data transfers are encrypted using Corporation-standard quantum-resistant encryption protocols.
Where data is transferred between jurisdictions with differing data protection standards, the Corporation applies the higher standard of protection. Colony administrations operating under the Interstellar Commerce Commission framework are subject to the ICC Data Protection Directive, with which the Corporation maintains full compliance.
6. DATA RETENTION
Personal data is retained for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. Employment records are retained for the duration of employment plus 25 years. Colony resident records are retained for the duration of residency plus 15 years. Health records generated by MedPod systems are retained indefinitely for medical continuity purposes unless deletion is specifically requested and legally permissible.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Subject to applicable law, you may exercise the following rights with respect to your personal data:

- ■ Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- ■ Deletion: Request deletion of your data where retention is no longer necessary
- ■ Portability: Request transfer of your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- ■ Objection: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes
Rights requests may be submitted to privacy@weylandyutani.com or through the Corporation's Data Rights Portal. Requests will be processed within 30 standard Earth days, or 45 days for requests originating from off-world installations.
8. SECURITY
Weyland-Yutani employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include quantum-resistant encryption, multi-factor biometric authentication, network segmentation, continuous monitoring, and regular security audits conducted by independent third parties.
