Enterprise Platform

MU-TH-UR
OPERATING SYSTEM

The MU-TH-UR (Model Utility Tethered Heuristic Unified Resource) operating system is the industry-standard platform for vessel and facility management across the corporate fleet, USCM naval forces, and commercial shipping operators.

First deployed in 2058, MU-TH-UR integrates all vessel subsystems — life support, navigation, power, communications, cargo, and security — into a unified management platform accessible through natural language interface. The system operates autonomously during hypersleep transit periods, maintaining all vessel functions without crew intervention for durations measured in years.

MU-TH-UR also serves as the primary interface between vessel crew and Weyland-Yutani corporate directives, ensuring operational alignment with mission parameters and corporate protocols at all times.

Infrastructure

DEEP SPACE
RELAY NETWORK

The Deep Space Relay Network is the communications backbone of interstellar civilization. Over 2,400 relay stations positioned along major transit corridors and near every colony world provide continuous communication coverage across human-explored space.

In 2068, the introduction of FTL-burst communication protocol transformed interstellar communications from a weeks-delayed process to near-real-time connectivity. Using the same spacetime compression principles as FTL propulsion, data packets are transmitted at superluminal velocities through the relay network, enabling practical voice, video, and data communication between core systems and frontier colonies.

Current research into quantum-entangled communication aims to achieve truly instantaneous data transfer regardless of distance, eliminating even the minimal latency inherent in FTL-burst protocols.
